There is Value in the Email Signature: There is more value in your signature than you may think. Your signature is not just something you sign when using a credit card of for use on a birthday card. Your signature can be free advertising for your website if used right. Most people forget about, or just don't know about the power hidden in their own signature. Your signature is more than just a name. It can say a lot about you and it can do a lot for you. What I'm talking about here is not just your name written on a piece of paper. The signature I'm talking about is the signature you use on outgoing emails. The sometimes forgotten line or two that tells everyone on your list what you are about. What you have to offer. Have you written and included a signature in your emails? Well, don't feel bad about it. Most people either don't know about signatures or don't think it will be of any use to them. If you have a website or a blog the email signature is worth many dollars to your business. As I said before, it is FREE advertising. Every email program that I know of allows for a signature in your outgoing emails. So, how can that benefit you? Simple.
Write a signature line about your website and include a link to the site. When you send any email that signature line and link will be automatically included and received by everyone you send to. Everyone now has a direct link to your site. Most of them will click and make the trip through your site. After the first time of seeing your signature line they won't have an interest the second time but the first time click can do a lot. You may not have a email contact list of hundreds, your list may be small but it is still valuable. Your list is actually connected to the lists of everyone you send to and some of those friends have large lists. You can make use of their lists and the lists of all their friends lists. People online love to find a new joke, information site or a new photo show and when they do it is usually forwarded on to those on their list. Then on to the next list and so on. In now time at all your signature line and link can be seen by thousands of people. The way a good joke travels online your signature line could even be seen by millions of people. That translates into more viewers to your site. It is like a pyramid only it is very legal. One (you) sends to 10 (your list) and each of those send to 10 or 20 (on their list) and it keeps going. Are you beginning to see the value in the signature?

as it should? Can you imagine just how many people see than little line and how many people actually click on it? So, the more of those sometimes boring, ridiculous and dumb jokes I forward the better off I am. Those lists are not limited on when, where or how far. Some lead to many locations across the oceans and seas. Take advantage of it. Think about it and write your signature line now and use it often. Discover the value in a simple signature.
