Thats right, learn to motivate yourself. No one else can really do it for you. Outside motivation is only a short term fix for a long term situation. I have attended many motivational seminars and listened to some of the best motivational speakers and they do have a way of inspiring a person to become involved and to get off the dime and start doing what is needed to get things rolling. I have found myself so inspired and so motivated after listening to a speaker and his or her talk on various subjects that as I walked out with an excited crowd I could hardly wait to get things going. The inspiration and motivation was definitely there. I was fired up. Ninety percent of those in attendance were as excited and fired up as I was. It was a very good motivational meeting. After all that inspirational and motivational chit chat you just knew the road ahead was going to go up hill to pure success. Nothing but the good life from now on. Well, that is where the road splits, one up, one down. Motivational speakers are great but they don't go home with you and that is the reason for self motivation. When you walk out the door after a motivational seminar and the speaker goes home the excitement begins to fade. When you get home and tell your spouse about the meeting your enthusiasm and eagerness are ready to take over. But by morning that enthusiasm begins to fade. The seminar was still great but the motivation is dwindling. By the end of the week you have probably forgotten what the seminar was all about. The motivation is totally gone. It is now time for another seminar. Time to get motivated again. Nobody can motivate you enough to make you wealthy. Nobody has found a way to keep the motivation alive. It only last for a few short hours or days without being rekindled. Therefore, one must learn to motivate himself to remain in control of the business of success. To be self motivated you need to be doing something that you really enjoy. If you are building a website make it about something you have great interest and knowledge in. Something you could talk forever about.
Something that never bores you. Something you can share with others with like interests. Something you could teach others how to do. I like to build guitars so I could make a website about how to build a guitar. Explaining all the necessary steps from start to finish. I could link to many others who have the same interest. Having my own personal interest in guitars is my own form of self motivation. It is my own interest that keeps me working toward the amount of success I desire. Self motivation only fades if you let it fade. Where outside motivation will fade without you even realizing it. Practice motivating yourself.
