Pages Count: Another thing that makes google respect your site enough to give it a good ranking is the number of pages it contains and the quality of the content. If you only have 5 or 10 pages google will just skim right over the site and go on to bigger and better things. Your pages should have something of benefit to the public and it wouldn't hurt to include something free every once in a while. You can submit your site to google with just a few pages but don't expect a high rank until you have more pages. A lot more. If you only have a handful of pages google and the other major search engines wont take you serious. There are sites made every day with few pages and they usually don't stay around long. Too many of the short websites are just people playing around with a first try or they are just experimenting. When you have 100 or more pages you can count on getting a much better rank. The quality of those pages needs be a consideration too. Do your research and produce pages with truthful information and something that will be of benefit to the viewers you hope to attract. Try to be accurate and don't forget to use spellcheck. A few misspelled words are common but a lot can hurt you in the long run. I often use misspelled words for the purpose of injecting a little humor. Humor like "it ain't gonna happen." And "you wanna bet". But overall, the spelling should be as correct as possible. You should also try to use good grammar too. And I don't mean your great gramma. (just a little joke) I was not good in English class in school. I don't know much about nouns and pronouns, verbs or adjectives. And I don't know a thing about dissecting a sentence so I try to write my pages as though you and I were just standing around shooting the bull. The main point here is to build a lot of pages so you can get a higher google rank. So build, build, build. All the information in these pages is free for your use but it does get a little stressful.
