Internet Money Hosting

Ok, you are making some good progress. You have a web page editor and a domain name and some good content. But you know what? It isn't worth a dime if you don't have someone to host your Web site.

The web host takes on the duty of actually activating your website and running it in the vast world of cyber space.

There are a lot of FREE web host around. And, of course, you are free to choose any one of them.

The free host can do a very good job of hosting your site but they usually  carry with them a few side effects.

No, they don't include hangnails, hair loss, uneven tire ware or loss of body fat. Only Jeff Foxworthy does that.

The free hosts do bombard your site with their own brand of ads. Ads that are sometimes placed in inappropriate locations on the site.

They also include large annoying banner ads across the top or bottom of each page. Sometimes a somewhat large square ad may appear in the middle of a page.

This does not always happen but it is more than I would like.

Your best bet is to forget the free host and find an inexpensive paid host. There are many of them available.

Some of the inexpensive hosts offer several other benefits. Benefits like free email boxes and an autoresponder.

Some, if you use their hosting will even include your domain name registration free. The host I have chosen for this site is an inexpensive host and it is one which does include free domain name. It costs less than $50 dollars per year.

However, there is a trick to a free domain name registration with the host I use. You must purchase hosting first.

When I first chose them as my host I did not know about the free domain name and I purchased it first then the host. I had to pay for the domain name.

On my second website I purchased the host option first and then was offered the free domain name. So if you choose Website Palace be sure to purchase the hosting first.

Another good reason for choosing a paid web host is the search engines. They don't seem to like the free hosts and give little or no attention to them.

With the free hosting the engines may never recognize your site and of course, there will be little or no traffic.

Without the cooperation of the search engine you will have minimum exposure and traffic. Traffic is the name of the game. Without it you have nothing.
