Ok, I chose the subject of Free information. Information about what someone would need to know before starting to create cashflow online.

Did you notice that I said "free" information? Nothing written by me ever asks anyone to buy anything.

There are places and articles in this site which do offer to sell information. Which is very good information and some of it you may want to purchase.

If you see something interesting, help yourself. I have made s few purchases myself.

The information is all out there in cyberspace somewhere. It gets a little hard to find at times but it is there.

Now it is also here, in these pages. Gathered in one spot for your use.

One of the first things you should consider is a program designed to make web pages. There are many around. The one I use is Microsoft Frontpage.

I also have Adobe Dreamweaver, which is supposed to be one of the best. I haven't completely figured Dreamweaver out yet so I still use MS Frontpage. (for now)

Dreamweaver is an expensive program so I don't recommend it in the beginning. Microsoft Frontpage is often found bundled with a new computer package so it may already be on your computer.

After I made a decision on the subject of my page I started writing it on my page maker, but I always felt like I was being rushed.

So I decided to write it out using a word processor like Microsoft Works and transfer it to Microsoft Frontpage later.

When you write your content write it complete and pay attention to details. After all, without content, you have nothing at all. Content is most important to your page.

The content must express your interest, the interest of the reader and some of your personality. Let the reader know that you are real and just like them. Also inject a little humor now and then.

Don't get tied up with the details of your life. The reader doesn't want to know that. He wants to know what will be of benefit to him or her. Tell them and move on.

Oh yes, another thing, don't worry about your writing skills. These readers don't really care if you forgot to cross a "T" or dot an "I" as long as the information is there. Try to be correct, but don't worry a lot about it.

Write like you talk. Like you and I were standing together talking. Don't use a lot of big words. If you do your reader will think you are just showing off and begin to doubt you and your topic of discussion.

Throw in a little redneck English and some humor now and then. It will make the reader feel more at home with you. They will feel more like you are people just like them. Someone who had the same problems as you and found the way out.

Become friends with the reader. Give them your honesty. Give them a reason to believe and trust you.

Now it is time to add this page to your favorites for future use and head for your word processor. It is time to plan your page.

Jot down a few reminder notes about what the page is to be. What it is supposed to say, what it is supposed to do. What you want to sell or share.

When you actually write it leave some space. If it is all jammed together it will be harder for the reader to read and understand. They will probably get fed up with it and go to another site.

Make it easy and interesting to read.

Ok, go to your word processor now.

Oh, by the way, people do appreciate knowing who you are so it wont hurt to throw in a picture of yourself. Like that clown up there in the corner of this page.

After you write some content come back here and we can move on to the next page.

Yes, thats me again over there in the corner looking dumb.
