You've been there, I've been there. We've all been there at one time or another. The programs that try as you will, you just can't make work.
I don't claim to be an Internet wizard or Guru and I am not good enough with the computer to even be rated as a "computer Geek" but I'm not stupid either.
I have been able to work out most of my computer problems and programs by myself with some effort and time.
But in my quest for information on the subject of making money on the Internet I have come across a number of program bonuses which I have found to be very much a problem.
I'm sure you know what I'm talking about. The bonus software which is included free with a program to increase your earning potential and possibilities.
You are given instructions on how to install the proper script or code into your webpage to create some special form or function box.
I recently met up with a situation that said to copy and paste a certain line of code and place it between this and that on my web html.
Following the instructions to the letter I did what I was supposed to do and nothing happened. I spent a couple of days trying to make it work.
I would try different ways of inserting and different places of insertion but the results were still the same, nothing.
I finally took a look at other lines already in my html that did work and noticed a couple of characters that the new line didn't have. I added these characters to my new line of script and inserted again and it worked.
The install information had left out 2 characters at the beginning and 2 at the end of their line of script. Their information was too incomplete to work.
You may have had the same experience. It was with a pretty well known money making group. I won't say who or what program it was here, but if you want to know I will tell it in an email.

I have been searching the Internet for money making opportunities for a long time so I have found several of these mistakes.
The person who sold you on the idea of using his or her program has no idea of how to solve the problem you have. All they can tell you is to go to a forum and ask.
If you are lucky you may find someone who had the same problem and actually has an answer. Most of the time all you get is a Try this suggestion. (if it works, I'm a great guy who solves all problems)
There was another one I joined which was and is a pretty good program. One I'm still with, but a part of it is still not working on my computer or website.
On this one I was given a readme page with all the instructions for installing a particular tool to boost traffic, interest and sales on my site.
Again, if you were new to websites the instructions would leave you wondering just what the heck does that mean. What am I supposed to do.
Well, there is a box filled with script, instructions, symbols and characters. Instructions say to edit this but don't edit that, change this but don't change that. Add this but don't add that.
Now add it all to your webpage html. It doesn't say exactly where to add, just somewhere between <body> and <body>.
After doing that the entire thing shows up on your webpage. All the symbols, characters and script but not the item in question. And of course aside from looking bad and unprofessional it still doesn't work.
I worked on this software addition for several days before I said forget it and got back to business. The software is still there and I go back and try it again every once in a while with the same results, nothing.
I will occasionally try and retry it and hopefully someday I will get it to work. I know it is a good tool and it would be a great help to my online business but I can't loose sleep over it.
I check the forums now and then to see if anybody has found the answer. STILL LOOKING.
