Every day people search the Internet for ways to add to or increase their financial income and status. This kind of search will continue as long as the possibilities allow and the possibilities are endless. Everyone who has an e-mail account (and that is just about everybody) is constantly bombarded with some kind of invitation to join a money making program of one kind or another. You've seen it. You've been there. You know what I'm talking about. Just about every time you open your e-mail you can count on something about money. It might be someone offering you a sure fire way to win the lottery or some Barrister from a far far away galaxy wanting you to help transfer funds for which you will be reimbursed for your participation. Right! If you believe that, I have a uniform with a big "S" on the front and cape for sale to you. Hey, it comes with its own phone booth! What, no takers? I didn't think so. You are way too smart to fall for that one. At least I hope you are. Well, those annoying ads are not limited to your computer and the Internet. We are also finding our TV set is turning against us. There are a lot of ads asking us to join something popping up on our TV's. Ads telling us exactly where to go on the Internet to find financial satisfaction. Where we can go to find a way to relieve ourselves of all our financial burdens. (they really want to relieve us of some of our cash) The ad you see today may say to go to "Money123.com" and tomorrow you may see another ad saying to check out "Finance321.com" and either one is sure to make you rich. I have checked them out and they are exactly the same place, thing and program. The opening page is a little different with a change of background color. Some items are placed differently and a few words have been changed but it is still the same. I just saw one such ad and the story it told would almost make you immediately sign up and send the money they require for a startup. It told of a man who claimed to be making $4000.00 per month (which is pretty good) but was fed up with the job and the hard work. He joined the program and within a year he was making over $12,000.00 per month. Well, do you know what I think of that? I think Great, Wonderful, I'm so happy for that person. But I don't believe it for a single minute.
So I'm a skeptic, so what. I have done enough searching and research on the subject of Internet money that I doubt about 99.9% of the ads I read. There are some that are for real. Some that are really in need of your cooperation to reach financial success. But they are definitely few and hard to find. As I pointed out on a previous page the majority of the Internet money programs state that they need you. They say that they don't make money until you make money. You've seen it, you know what I'm talking about. They don't make money if you don't. Have you found a site anywhere on the Internet or even on TV that says "I will make money for you and then we will earn money for me?" One that says "I will make you money and you can reimburse me for my expense after you receive a check." No, I have not seen that one either. If I did I would be a little leery about how much they are talking about repaying. It might be more than I think they are worth. Anyway, the ads you see on TV are just a way to draw more attention to some program. Not everyone has a computer yet so to reach those people the TV is the most logical medium. See it on TV, make a phone call to an 800 number and send some money and you too can get rich. (or go broke) An ad on TV is not cheap. Neither is a half hour Infomercial. TV is one of the most expensive ways to advertise so you know that somewhere down the line you will be expected to pay. And pay dearly for being a member of who knows what. If you are looking at TV ads for the answer and have no computer then by all means have a friend look it up for you. Do, or have someone help you do some research before you give away your hard earned bucks. All those TV ads are there just to capture the interest of those who don't have or don't use the computer. It is just another way to reach the masses of people seeking a little financial relief. Before you jump into the ad think about just how much you are going to need to pay. Just my opinion. Be careful where you jump. |
