Who Can Be An Affiliate? If you can walk, talk and breath you can be an affiliate. If you can use a computer it would be a help but even with minimal skills it is still possible. The site owner uses affiliates to help promote his presence online. The more affiliates a web owner has, the more his product and or his address will be spread across cyberspace. It is the affiliate who generates a large amount of the necessary exposure. Some sites need affiliates to promote the actual product and some only have information they need to expose to the public which also needs the help of the affiliate. On most websites there is a link, usually located at the bottom of the page looking for affiliates. You simply give it a click, fill out a short form and you are an affiliate. Most of those sites even give you a widget or button or a link to place on your site or blog or in your email that is coded with your information. Some even supply you with a working website. It may be a cookie cutter type site but it works and that is what counts. If you go to www.clickbank.com and fill out their form they will set you up as an affiliate with a number of locations.
